I debated about
adding this page to my website because it struck me as being slightly
egotistical. But then I thought: "I have my own website. Isn't
that slightly egotistical?" So I left it in. I decided
that you're entitled to see who's behind the ramblings on these
pages.
I am a
writer and presently live with my wife in the Tampa Bay Area
in Florida. I was born and raised in Manhattan and though
I haven't resided on that overpopulated island for close to
two decades, I still regard it as 'Mother Concrete.'
I have a degree
in Theater and another in Political Science from Fordham University
at Lincoln Center. That naturally meant my first job after
graduation would be as a copywriter for the JCPenney Corporation.
Don't try to make sense of it, the Universe works according
to its own rules.
I am,
or have been at one time or another: an Actor, an Administrative
Assitant, a Copywriter, a Customer Service & Internet
Services Manager, a Data Manager, a Database Coordinator,
a Day Camp Leader, a Documentation Specialist, a Doorman,
a Fiction Writer, a Grocery Clerk, a Playwright, a Project
Manager, a Poet, a Receptionist, a Record Department Sales
Clerk, a Secretary, a Security Guard, a Stained Glass Craftsman,
a Technical Writer, and a Web Master.
I have
touched the waters of the Atlantic, the Pacific, the Caribbean,
Acapulco Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Mediterranean. I've
been to ten different nations. I've visited 14 out of the 50 states -- and
Washington D.C. (not a state but worth visiting). I have owned
(or have been owned by) a goldfish, turtles, a mouse, several
cats, two budgies, and a cockatiel. I once appeared on "The
Bozo the Clown Show."
I recently
published a collection of my short stories. The collection
is entitled "Digital
Daydreams" and I've had a short story appear in "Chicken
Soup for the Romantic Soul". I am presently working
on a series of fantasy novels.
As more things
happen to me, I'll add them to this page. It'll be fun to see it
grow. |
